The Rucker Elementary PTO Scholarship
The Rucker Elementary PTO Scholarship is awarded without regard to race, religion, gender, national origin, citizenship status, disability, or family income. Recipients are selected solely based on the criteria outlined in this application.
The Rucker Elementary PTO Scholarship recognizes graduating seniors who once attended Rucker Elementary and who demonstrate strong character, community involvement, and a com mitment to continued education.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, a student must:

Be a graduating high school senior in the year of the award.

Have attended Rucker Elementary School for at least one full academic year, or a minimum of two semesters.

Demonstrate active volunteerism, particularly through school-based service.

Be enrolled in an accredited post-secondary program, including:

A 4-year college or university, or
-
A community college, or
-
A trade or technical school, or
-
An accredited certification program
Scholarship Eligibility Limitation
To ensure equitable distribution of funds and provide opportunities to as many students as possible, a student may receive only one scholarship award per academic year from Prosper Education Foundation.
Any student who has been awarded a scholarship sponsored by the Rucker Elementary PTO during the current academic year is not eligible to receive an additional scholarship awards from the Prosper Education Foundation in that same year.
Students may apply for multiple scholarships; however, if selected for more than one award, the student will receive only one scholarship, as determined by the scholarship committee.
